The hotel expands its team to enhance the guest experience
ATLANTA (Nov. 28, 2022) – Wylie Hotel, the historic boutique hotel located in the Old Historic Fourth Ward neighborhood, recently expanded their management team with the hiring of Peterson Hill as restaurant general manager, Nicole Narinesingh as executive chef, Kelley DeVinney as executive sales coordinator, and Hannah Leonard as creative specialist of beverages. The new additions bring a wealth of experience that will provide a new level of excellence to the beloved mainstay.
“All four of the new team members are accomplished leaders, each bringing their own unique talent and fresh perspective to the hotel,” said James Green, general manager of Wylie Hotel. “We are very excited about the ideas they have already brought and look forward to seeing them continue to excel within their new roles.”
Peterson Hill holds the position of restaurant general manager for Mrs. P’s Bar & Kitchen, the hotel’s signature dining outlet. In this role, Hill oversees and executes all aspects of the restaurant front of house operations, including staff management, guest satisfaction, and community relations. With nearly 10 years in the industry, Hill has held several positions including director of food and beverage, corporate manager of beverages, independent consultant, and wine director. Hill’s affinity for the hospitality industry remained constant throughout his tenure in upscale and luxury hotel concepts, leading him to his current position at Wylie Hotel.
Nichol Narinesingh, Wylie Hotel’s executive chef, brings six years of professional culinary expertise and knowledge of regional ingredients to the Southern-focused kitchen. Chef Narinesingh will work closely with hotel management to oversee all culinary operations, while injecting new and innovative concepts that enhance guest experiences. In the past year, Chef Narinesingh served as the Sous Chef for American Cruise Lines where she was responsible for overseeing the execution and operation of all menus, inventory, and staff management as well as sharpening her personal culinary style with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. she held the title of Chef de Cuisine of Epicurean Tampa, which is a sister hotel of Wylie Hotel.
Kelley DeVinney, executive sales coordinator, will focus on booking small events at Mrs. P’s Bar & Kitchen, brainstorming marketing ideas for the restaurant, building long-standing relationships with clients to secure bookings, and more. DeVinney first stepped on the hospitality scene with one of Wylie Hotel’s sister properties, Epicurean Hotel in Tampa as the front desk supervisor. During her tenure at Epicurean, DeVinney curated exemplary guest experiences whilst serving as acting manager on duty, along with facilitating communications between sales, restaurant, spa, housekeeping, and engineering staff.
Hannah Leonard holds the title of creative specialist of beverages where she is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly, as well as adding her expertise and creative flair to the menu. In 2015, she accepted a position as a spirit buyer at Holman & Finch Bottle Shop where she was able to sharpen her knowledge of fine wine and spirits. She also held the position of Georgia market manager at Intrepid Spirits where she was responsible for collaborating with spirit portfolio managers to develop and execute distribution deals to improve efficiency in all restaurants. With more than eight years of experience in the industry, Leonard brings a vast and diverse background to her new role and implements these proficiencies behind the bar at Mrs. P’s Bar & Kitchen.
Wylie Hotel is located at 551 Ponce de Leon Avenue. Mrs. P’s Bar & Kitchen is open seven days a week for breakfast service from 7 – 11 a.m. The restaurant is currently open for lunch service from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday – Friday and dinner service from 4 -10 pm Tuesday through Thursday and 4 – 11 pm on Friday and Saturday.
