The Karol Hotel Unveils Dining, Drinking Enhancements at K Club Bar & Bistro & Vantage Rooftop Bar

CLEARWATER, Fla. (June 14, 2023) – The AAA Four-Diamond Karol Hotel, centrally located in beautiful Feather Sound between Clearwater, St. Pete and Tampa, has unveiled a round of enhancements at its signature restaurant, K Club Bar & Bistro, and its popular Vantage Rooftop Bar. The recent changes include the addition of alfresco dining and new menu items at K Club Bar & Bistro; new high-top banquettes and new menu items at Vantage; and a new elevated cocktail program available at both outlets.

“Our food and beverage team has really outdone themselves, adding several new deliciously innovative items I’m certain will be a hit with guests and our local regulars alike,” said Jason Perkins, General Manager. “The menus are mostly new, but we kept some fan favorites such as the Karol Bliss and the Short Rib and Sausage Bolognese, which also happen to be two of Karol Bullard’s personal favorites.”

Located on the lobby level of the hotel, K Club Bar & Bistro now features an awning over the terrace, providing a comfortable alfresco option overlooking the pool and pond. K Club Bistro focuses on New American cuisine under the direction of Executive Chef Thomas Parker with menus for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch and dinner. Recent menu additions include Confit Smoked Chicken Gnocchi, Coriander Crusted Scallops, Apple Brined Pork Chop and Verlasso Grilled Salmon.

Vantage Rooftop Bar has been refreshed and added new high-top banquettes. Vantage is also serving a new menu that includes hot items such as Ropa Vieja Steamed Buns and Pizza Focaccia, and the Rooftop Mai Tai Cake, a whimsical boozy dessert. Other highlights include the Vantage Charcuterie Board and the Golden Beet and Burrata Salad.

Both K Club Bar & Bistro and Vantage Rooftop Bar have new cocktail programs in place, offering a unique and robust selection of craft cocktails. K Club cocktail highlights include the Yellow Bird, with Benchmark Bourbon, Lemon and Honey Syrup; Floating Heart, with Empress Gin, Triple Sec, Lemon and Crème de Violet; and Strawberry Mint Gimlet. Up on the rooftop at Vantage, guests can order The Good Angel, with Angel’s Envy Bourbon, Raspberry Syrup, Lemon Juice and Grapefruit; Smokey Love, with 400 Conejos Mezcal, Orgeat, Lime, Tabasco and Bitters; and Mr. Plum, with Conniption Gin, Lemon Juice, Luxardo, Agave Syrup and Plum Bitters.

The Karol Hotel is named for and inspired by Karol Kelly Bullard, “Miss Karol K,” wife of Fred Bullard, CEO of The Bullard Group, developer and owner of the property.
