This achievement ranks Scrub Island as a premier establishment esteemed by professional inspectors, the hospitality industry and more than 56 million AAA/CAA members, with only 5.7 percent of the nearly 28,000 properties approved by AAA earning this exclusive distinction.

AAA’s Diamond Ratings are developed through an evaluation process that relies on physical on-site inspections. The hotels are reviewed on comfort, cleanliness, security, services and amenities. After evaluation, properties are awarded a rating between one and five, with five being the most sought-after rating.
Scrub Island has also been honored with numerous awards in recent years, including 500 World’s Best Hotels for 2015 by Travel + Leisure, World’s Dreamiest Private Island Resorts by both Huffington Post and Condé Nast Traveler, and Best Romantic Getaways in the Caribbean by USA Today.
