BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS (May, 2017) – Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, the first luxury, private-island resort development to be built in the British Virgin Islands in more than 15 years, has added four new hillside villas to its inventory. With expansive views of the Caribbean’s turquoise waters and surrounding islands, these new private villa estates range from two to six bedrooms and from 3,000 to more than 6,000 square feet. A perfect retreat for small, large and multi-generational families, the villas feature daily housekeeping, transportation service on demand, and exceptional amenities.
“In addition to our nine existing villas, the new Longview Villas are a perfect complement to the luxurious accommodations at Scrub Island,” said Federico Ciampi, Scrub Island’s resort manager. “From honeymooning couples to extended families, resort guests can experience their very own exclusive, private island villa with all the amenities of a five-star resort and more.”
The Spinnaker House, The Drake House, The Shoreline House and The Leeward House take their names from their unique locations, inspiring views and individual personalities. Each villa features large balconies and terraces, as well as Subzero and Wolf appliances, enclosed rain showers and infinity-edged or plunge pools. Among the most lavish accommodations in the British Virgin Islands, the villas are nestled discreetly within the contours of Scrub Island, blending beautifully with the island’s natural topography.
Taking inspiration from the British West Indies, villa interiors include dark woods and light walls, and feature local artwork, custom furnishings, king-size beds with luxury linens, bamboo ceiling fans and flat panel televisions. When fully open, large sliding windows and doors invite the balmy trade winds and display unobstructed views. Each bathroom is grand in size and splendor, with natural stone flooring, granite-top twin-vanity, rainforest showerhead, water closet and a soaking tub. Villa exteriors recall a British Colonial-style with distinct touches of Caribbean in a village-inspired setting.
New villa rates begin at $2,250 per night for a three-bedroom, $2,750 for a four-bedroom and $3,750 for a six-bedroom. For more information on Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina or to make a reservation, call toll-free U.S. (888) 678-8912 or visit www.scrubisland.com.
