Nan Feng Hired as Regional Director of Finance for Mainsail Lodging & Development

TAMPA, Fla. (June 10, 2013) – Mainsail Lodging & Development recently announced the hiring of Nan Feng as the regional director of finance. In this position, Feng is responsible for accounting oversight of  the hotels within Mainsail’s portfolio which include Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina in the British Virgin Islands and Mainsail Beach Inn and Mainsail Suites Hotel & Conference Center, both in Florida.

Feng  will also oversee all financial aspects of the  Epicurean Hotel – the first newly-constructed property in
Marriott’s Autograph Collection – scheduled to open at the end of this year in Tampa.

“With Mainsail’s extensive partnerships with Marriott, it was a natural fit to have Nan join the team,” said Joe Collier, president of Mainsail Lodging & Development. “We are looking to him to continue those successful relationships and lead all of our hotels to a financial success.”

Feng’s entire 10-year career has been spent in the financial world of the Marriott family. Prior to joining Mainsail Lodging & Development, he was director of finance for Marriott’s Ocean Watch in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he acted as a project manager for multiple capital expenditure projects. Prior to that, he served as director of finance for Marriott Vacations Worldwide in Orlando and Marriott’s Resort Operations – Asia Specific region.

He has also worked for Marriott’s Fairway Villas at Seaview in NJ and Marriott’s Desert Springs Villas in Palm Desert, CA. Fluent in Mandarin and English, Feng holds a bachelor of science in finance and marketing from Arizona State University.
