Macon’s Hotel Forty Five Appoints Jimmy Teixeira Director of Sales

MACON, GA. (Oct. 13, 2021) — Florida-based Mainsail Lodging & Development and IDP Properties have announced the appointment of Jimmy Teixeira as Director of Sales of Hotel Forty Five, a 94-room boutique hotel, opening in downtown Macon, Georgia, in early 2022. In this role, Teixeira will oversee all sales efforts for the 11-story hotel, the first in Macon’s Historic Central Business District and the city’s first member of the Marriott Tribute Portfolio.  

“Jimmy is a highly motivated, dedicated individual with the capability of producing significant results for Hotel Forty Five,” said Stephan Amesoeder, general manager.  “He’s got the leadership skills needed to open a new property, and a natural ability to foster long-lasting business relationships that will help ensure the overall success of the hotel.” 

Throughout his years in the hospitality industry, Teixeira has gained extensive experience in sales leadership, catering and event planning, and food and beverage. Prior to Hotel Forty Five, Teixeira served as Director of Sales at Tru by Hilton Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida; Catering Sales Executive at JW Marriott Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida; and Catering Sales Manager at Epicurean Hotel in Tampa, Florida.  

At each of his posts, Jimmy distinguished himself through his boundless enthusiasm, talent for innovation and his ability to implement new initiatives which drive value for both his hotels and customers. Teixeira has a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Tourism from the University of Central Florida. 

Hotel Forty Five will occupy Macon’s original, historic high-rise at the intersection of Cherry and First Streets, and Cotton Avenue, sitting at an iconic angle for which the hotel is named. Among featured food and beverage offerings will be Loom, the hotel’s signature chef-driven restaurant; Hightales Rooftop Bar, located on the sixth-floor rooftop; and the eclectic Reckon Coffee & Wine Bar.
