Hightales Rooftop Bar and Longleaf Distillery Co. Blending Two Southern Favorites for Five-Course Pairing Event

WHO: Hotel Forty Five’s sixth floor bar, Hightales Rooftop Bar and Longleaf Distillery Co.

WHAT: Hotel Forty Five and Macon’s own Longleaf Distillery Co. are inviting guests to enjoy a spectacular evening showcasing a pairing of select whiskeys and mouthwatering BBQ. This evening under the stars features a delicious blend of Southern favorites served in five rounds, from starters to sweets. Tickets are just $75 per person and include a special five-course pairing menu:

∙ Welcome – Georgia (Slider with Pulled Pork, Sweet BBQ Sauce) and Tea Time (Longleaf High Tea, Sparkling Lemonade)
∙ First – South Carolina (Smoked Chicken Wings, Gold Sauce, Carrots and Celery, Chipotle Ranch) and Borrowed Bourbon (Single Barrel, Bottled in Bond, 79% Corn 21% Rye)
∙ Second – Kansas City (Smoked Pork Ribs and KC Sauce, Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese) and Heirloom (Small Batch, Madeira Finish, 90 Proof)
∙ Third – Texas (Smoked Brisket, Baked Beans with a Kick) and Borrowed Rye (Small Batch, 90 Proof, 51% Rye)
∙ Sweets – Bourbon Caramel Apple Turnover and Longleaf Draft Saturn Cocktail
