Position Description: The Villa Manager is responsible for assisting with planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the our villas, both from an owner and resort prospective, in accordance with local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality guest care is maintained at all times.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience managing a team of employees through motivation, coaching and development.
  • The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and
  • multitask
  • Working knowledge of rooms management system, preventive maintenance and retail/provision
  • Advanced knowledge of Housekeeping & Maintenance process and procedures.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior job related experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
  • Read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors or manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pre-arrival communications and planning, including but not limited to: pre-arrival emails, villa provisioning and planning of both on and off island guest activities.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all Villa guests (owners, paying guests, VIP’s) according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Develop and maintain a successful preventive maintenance plan to ensure owners satisfaction
  • Support F&B in organizing private Villa’s dinners and support with training to reach Autograph standards
  • Inspect villas, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards.
  • Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
  • Act as a liaison working alongside Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, Front Office, and Laundry.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards.
  • Complete required paperwork.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
  • Any other duties assigned by the manager.
