Are you a creative videographer with a strong passion for developing captivating content? Do you love telling stories through video? Have you ever thought your skills can bring diversity to a company’s marketing strategy? Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking a video marketing intern to assist with video production, post-production, audio, and all aspects of videography. This paid internship is open to undergraduate juniors and seniors as well as graduate students and will give you hands-on video production experience in a corporate environment.


What you’ll do:

The right candidate will be well-versed in video production, editing, and have a strong understanding of equipment associated with such projects (camera, lighting, microphones, and video editing software). The Intern will work closely with both the Marketing and Human Resource teams and will be responsible for assisting in the production of projects requiring video production, audio production, and the overall development of captivating content for social media. The goal is simple, create content that builds meaningful connections with community members, customers/guests, and jobseekers.


What you’ll bring (Requirements):

  • Shooting and editing original content for social media platforms
  • Solid understanding of camera, microphones, and lighting
  • Knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premier, iMovie, etc.)
  • Must be able to commit 10-12 weeks for about 20 hours per week
  • Creating smooth transitions and possibly animations
  • Understanding of corporate brand storytelling strategies
  • Strong verbal and writing communication skills
  • Must have reliable transportation to corporate office in Tampa, FL
  • Translate marketing strategies to finished products



  • Photo editing skills a huge plus
  • Ability to write short scripts for production
  • Comfortable working both independently and in groups
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Good project management skills and ability to report on updates in weekly meetings
