Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Education & Experience:
• Previous shoe shiner experience preferred

Physical Demands:
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend
• Ability to lift, pull 40 lbs
• Ability to communicate clearly

Mental Demands:
• Able to work independently
• Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality


• Shine and perform minor repairs on shoes
• Provide consultation and advice on shoe care and self-care of shoes
• Monitor, purchase and stock supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and order of shoe shine stand
• Maintain accurate records of shoe shine transactions
• Ability to interact with guests and share hotel knowledge using personalization such as using the guest’s name
• Maintain guest confidentiality
• Provide local information for shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations
• Follow scheduled shifts and follow break and lunch requirements
• Report any suspicious activity or unusual items in room
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures as outlined in the team member handbook
• Maintain cleanliness and order of work area
