The Property Manager, manages on-site customer service and related duties for residents of Mainsail Beach Inn on Anna Maria Island, with minimal supervision.

  • Ensure compliance of Mainsail Lodging & Development’s Core Values.
  • Coordinate front desk activities to include scheduling and processing all move ins/outs.
  • Maintain daily contact with General Manager to discuss any issues
  • Manage and resolve guest complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Supervise housekeeping staff and front office staff
  • Distribute daily housekeeping assignments, and conduct inspections
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies and amenities/coordinate ordering with General Manager
  • Communicate with vendors as necessary
  • Record keeping of keys
  • Listen to guests messages left in customer service telephone line and distribute message, based on guests’ requests
  • Maintain communication with Reservations Department and any other departments that handle Anna Maria Beach Inn reservations/services.
  • Attend required staff meetings and required training sessions
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum education required for competent performance:

High school graduate.

Minimum experience (number of months/years and type of work experience beyond formal education):

Minimum (2) years hospitality / customer service experience.

Essential knowledge, skills, equipment used, and abilities needed.

Minimum typing speed 65wpm                                        Internet

Microsoft office computer programs                                 Multi-line phone

general office equipment (to include fax, copier, postal machine).

GM, Sales, Inventory Manager, GM – constantly, Leasing/Apartment community staff-constantly   Operations/Housekeeping – constantly

Vendors – regularly
