Reports to: Culinary Leadership Staff
Responsibilities of the Kitchen Steward include operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools for washing all FOH and BOH dishes, china ware, flatware, utensils, kitchen vessels, ect. Stewards are also responsible for sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, cleaning and detailing equipment and other cleaning duties as assigned by the Chef Managers. Stewards must maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, dish washing and back area in an inspection-ready condition in accordance with local authority and hotel guidelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The right candidate should have a positive attitude, communicates effectively and works well under pressure.
High school or equivalent diploma.
Previous experience in similar role and Knowledge of Basic Food Safety.
