JOB DESCRIPTION: House Person Attendant
The House Person Attendant will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the common areas of Green House, a private hotel. In addition, they will be responsible for promptly responding to any guest requests to ensure exceptional service. Ability to take initiative and work independently is important.
Essential Functions
Acknowledge guests in all public spaces with a warm and friendly greeting
• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the hotel such as lobby, laundry/housekeeping areas, office and all common areas in accordance with COVID protocol established by the property
• Assist with laundry operations such as stripping rooms, wash, dry and fold laundry.
• Safely remove all dirty linens and service items from guestrooms as needed
• Ensure closets and supply areas are properly stocked and organized
• Assist with receiving and organizing department supplies
• Ability to communicate with manager on inventory needs e.g., cleaning supplies and products
• Assist in the restocking and reorganizing the housekeepers’ closets and shelves
• Keep stairwells clean and ice machine areas free from debris
• Assist in emptying all exterior and interior trash including pool, front and back of the building areas as needed
• Ability to take initiative and handle assignments with limited supervision
• Follow scheduled shifts and follow break and lunch requirements
• Respect all guests, team members, and management by maintaining a positive, friendly attitude
• Establish and maintain a high level of professional communication with other associates and guests
• Ability to interact with guests and share hotel knowledge using personalized service
• Maintain guest confidentiality following all hotel procedures
• Report any suspicious activity or unusual items in room
• Report any irregular behavior from guests in public areas and/or in rooms
• Follow scheduled shifts and follow break and lunch requirements
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures as outlined in the team member handbook
