Job Summary:


Essential Functions

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers
  • Complete month-end closing procedures and reports as specified
  • Audit cashier banks periodically according to SOPs
  • Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts. Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances according to SOPs
  • Act as liaison between properties and armored car service or primary banking institution. Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes and ensure compliance with SOPs
  • Comply with company internal audit procedures (conducted by hotel Controller and/or Corporate)
  • Other duties as assigned

Accounts Payable (secondary option to central team)

  • Process payments to vendors
  • Collect W9 form for all new vendors
  • Enter new vendor information in system

In addition to core functions above:

  • Maintain open communications with all hotels and departments
  • Assist supervisor with assigned tasks


Hotel Performance

  • Ensure successful performance assisting guests with an exceptional experience.


Qualification Standards


Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or higher
  • 2- year college degree or equivalent in Finance and Accounting or related ajor preferred
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to use technology e.g. tablets, iPads

  • Ability to lift, pull 40 pounds
  • Ability to communicate clearly
