Overview of the role  

The Field Services Associate ensures our upscale furnished corporate apartments through the Carolina Market area are in excellent condition for our guests’ arrival. The associate must be willing to drive between the Raleigh/Durham area and Charlotte area several times a week. The associate will inspect cleanliness and condition of furniture, housewares, technology (Wi-Fi connectivity, Smart TV operations, etc.), and cleanliness of apartment, and either correct or report any problems. The associate must be able to complete various inspection forms on a personal device

What you have

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current North Carolina Driver’s License and vehicle to drive daily to the jobs needed
  • Good communication skills, both in written and verbal formats, in order to communicate needs and share assignments
  • Ability to use a wide range of cleaning products and utensils, in accordance with OSHA and safety guidelines
  • 6 months experience as mobile housekeeper, or operations service staff
  • Experience and ability to drive company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
  • Working knowledge on using technology, including but not limited to tables, iPads, computers, and home technology
  • Customer service and guest relation skills
  • Proven best practices in accident prevention and safety
  • Driving record that is within acceptable insurance requirements

What you’ll do  

  • Complete daily schedule of tasks to include communicating with vendors regarding daily schedules, attend to maintenance needs of furnished apartments, meet with guests if needed to resolve guest needs
  • Heavy cleaning of apartments when needed
  • Complete Oscar Dash forms assigned each day
  • Assist with move in and move out inspections of apartment condition for pickups and set ups, and relay any noted problems
  • Verify functionality of internet, cable, telephone, alarm code and report any malfunctions to Operations Manager/Guest Service Manager
  • Inspect furniture conditions on regular basis to ensure furniture functionality and quality, report any issues to Operations Manager
  • Report or solve any problems or issues reported by guests in a quick, courteous, and professional manner
  • Attend and actively participate in department meetings as necessary
  • Various office duties including printing welcome information and building welcome folders for residents
  • Other necessary duties as reasonably assigned by manager

 

Physical Demand 

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Following ergonomic safety practices with respect to lifting and movement; using standard safe trade practices (e.g., proper uses of chemicals, etc.), using personal protective equipment as suggested, using OSHA-mandated and/or properly accepted work practices
  • Position requires full range of physical abilities including moving through apartment building, walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, stooping, and accessing all spaces
  • Ability to lift, pull 50 lbs.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors as necessary
  • Ability to work long hours as needed
